"An Everlasting Meal" and "Ratio" WINNERS!

Thank you to everyone who entered and shared the giveaway of these great books from Tamar Adler and Michael Ruhlman. They are fantastic tomes that I recommend you make part of your own collection. It was wonderful to read over all your thoughtful comments about how you integrate economy and grace into your own kitchen routine as well as which of Ruhlman's ratios piqued your interest.

I divided all the entries into those for An Everlasting Meal and those for Ratio then used random.org's random number generator to choose the two winners...

The winner of Tamar Adler's An Everlasting Meal is... Alice! She answered "How do you cook with economy and grace when you cook at home?" with:
Well, first let me say that a friend told me about Adler's book just the other day and I can't wait to read it! I think I already practice some of her suggestions for rolling one day's leftovers into another day's meal, but I can't wait to read the details.
I cook at home just about every day, and economy and grace come in both with my selection of ingredients (mostly from the farmers market, which provides the blessings of real food) and by not letting anything to go to waste (for example, veggie scraps go into the freezer to be saved for making stock, after which they are composted).
Congratulations, Alice! Please email me the address where you would like your book to be shipped: theculinarylibrarian[at]gmail[dot]com

and...

The winner of Michael Ruhlman's Ratio is... Allie M*! She answered "What recipe/ratio do you think you would use most from Ruhlman's book?" with:
I love the concept behind Ratio! I think I would use cookie dough recipes the most as I am a cookie fiend and would love to be able to experiment with cookie creations on my own!
Congratulations, Allie M! Please email me the address where you would like your book to be shipped: theculinarylibrarian[at]gmail[dot]com
*Allie never contacted me with so I will be giving away this copy of Ratio through some new contest sometime soon. Watch Twitter/Facebook.

Thank you again to everyone who entered! And welcome to any newcomers to The Culinary Librarian- I hope you like what you see so far. Keep an eye out for more giveaways in the future.
